Alpaca wool is amazing. As well as being eco-friendly, it is also velvety soft and won’t itch or scratch against your child’s skin. It also has water repelling properties, so spills won’t immediately soak in and can be quickly blotted away.
Soak your alpaca item in cool water with a mild detergent. Never use hot water, as it will cause the fibres to band together.
Washing and drying:
- Squeeze the garment gently without wringing or twisting.
- Rinse well in cold water and gently press out the extra water.
- Lay flat between two towels and roll up to absorb the water.
