How to Wash Your Alpaca Pants

Baby alpaca is a wonderful wool for kids, because it’s so soft that it won’t scratch or irritate their delicate skin. It is also a very “green” wool, because alpacas leave a minimal impact on the earth with their grazing habits.

To care for your alpaca pants, wash with a mild detergent in cold water. Gently squeeze and squish to get them clean without wringing or twisting the fabric, which will stretch it. To dry, you can lay them flat between two towels and roll them up to soak up any excess water before placing on a clean towel to air dry.
