Miou is a children’s clothing company, and as such we believe strongly in doing what we can to make the world a better place for our kids. These days, many consumers are requesting products that have a minimal negative impact on the earth and they also want to know more about how products are made and where they comes from.
We pay our knitters in Peru a fair working wage and give them the opportunity to knit from home where they can raise their own children as well as pass down their traditional knitting knowledge to their daughters. We also use only eco-friendly dyes, organic cotton and sustainable, earth-friendly alpaca wool.
Hopefully by the time our children are grown, it will become the norm for all companies to follow these practices. In the meantime, we are grateful to have customers like you supporting the things that matter most.
