Our fashionable, hand-knitted clothing is designed to keep kids warm and comfortable, but we also make sure to only use products that will not cause them or the environment any harm. All our items are made from eco-friendly baby alpaca wool or organic cotton, and our dyes are earth-friendly as well.
We also care about the children of our knitters. We pay a fair wage to our team of skilled artisans in Peru, which allows them to support their own families. Working for Miou means they can work from home so they can care for their own children. Knitters in Peru practice an ancient tradition of passing down their knowledge from generation to generation from mother to daughter, which makes the future a little bit brighter for many of these girls raised in poverty.
