Miou was started by Christine Dubin, a mother and designer originally from France. Christine wanted to start a company that reflected her values of caring for children and the environment while offering beautiful, high quality clothing. Her European flair for style is apparent in all her unique designs, and Miou is a company that firmly believes in using earth-friendly products as well as practicing fair trade.
All of Miou’s knitters are women who live in Peru and are paid a fair wage so they can support their families and children. They follow a tradition of passing down their knitting expertise from mother to daughter, a practice that Miou is thrilled to be able to support.
