Conventional, non-organic cotton is full of toxic pesticides and is harmful to the earth and to the workers who have to process it. We use only the finest organic cotton, grown without the use of these dangerous chemicals.
Miou also believes strongly in supporting our workers by paying them a fair wage. Our team of highly skilled knitters from Peru practice a tradition of handing down their knitting expertise from mother to daughter. Their wages from Miou enable them to take care of their families, and they can work from home so they can be with their children. Every piece of Miou clothing has been handmade for your child with love by one of these women.
